Hunan Province

Hunan has been my home for the past two years. I am based in the capital city of Changsha, but the best sites are all in the western part of the province. Gorgeous green fields and mountains are punctuated by the occasional small village, like Dehang. The distinctive karst peaks of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park are stunning — and they were supposedly inspiration for some of the scenery in the movie Avatar.
