I promised to tell you about my hike along the Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai today. But it’s been a bit of a week, what with a houseguest, bedbugs, and an imminent conference for work. Writing that post fell by the wayside. So instead, I give you what is, I believe, a bad idea in any country: Bringing your dog, sans restraints, on a river-crossing zipline. (Spotted at the Simatai section of the Great Wall.)
